Soapbox Comments

From N0CW, Chuck

One QSO on each band, 40, 20, and 15 meters. Didn’t hear many signals trying to overcome noisy band conditions. Not only that but I spent good part of day helping daughter and son in law to move into new home. Hope Mr. Sun shines down favorably on Santa and company in upcoming WES.

From WA0CIE, BUTCH

Band conditions not great, only heard a few stations. getting ready for SKM

From N8KR, Ken

Always fun to get on. . . Especially good to work some newer members!

From W4RQ, Rich

Today nice chats with ops in NM, OK,TX,MD,MS, and Ontario.
I really enjoy operating in the SSS and meeting new friends. Today 2 of my QSO partners were not SKCC members.

From KO4WFP, Teri

Despite the bands not being cooperative, I enjoyed this SSS. All but one QSO with ops I've worked before - nice to see ya'll again. Looking forward to the first SSS of 2023.

From N9DGL, Bruce C

Always enjoy this event! Bruce

From KD8RGJ, Terry

The SKCC and the OPs involved make Radio & CW a lot of fun. Nice to meet new friends on the air.

From NM8GS, Crew

I needed these five Qs to complete the quest for C. Had a great QSO with Gary K1YAN...we're a couple of real old timers...60+ years as hams.

Kind of weird to report zero contacts !! But I am a firm believer in SSS and what it stands for - so I wanted to "log in". Unfortunately I misssed this SSS (I am in Florida for the annual FOC Orlando conference; was there during SSS). Will be ready to roll 01 January!! Semper cw

From AC1GF, Bob

From K2CWM, Curt

I was in & out all day so not much time for one of my fav SKCC events, but managed to get 7 contacts.
Used my 14 year old IC-7000 at 50w to a vertical, using my 1943 Lionel J38. Thanks for the contacts.
