First SKCC contact. Hope i'm filling this out
right!! Great fun and will return in the future
Tom
Thanks for the 31 QSOs, including 15 first QSOs, all answering my CQs on 40m. QSO with WB4LAL, his first Tx8 QSO - QSO with W3AJL, his first QSO after 50 years QRT - QSO with N2UD his first SKCC contact. 7 non-skcc stations answered my SSS CQs, too. I might speculate that there are stations just waiting to hear a slow speed CQ with a straight key or cootie. Have you sent a slow speed CQ lately?
15 meters was open this afternoon. 3 of my 5 contacts were with Europeans. Worked John - ZS6JBJ on 10 meters. Mike - WI5H was the stateside contact!
Great band conditions! I worked 7 members on 17m and a few on 15m. The rest were on 40m and it was active.
I believe this is my first SSS to submit results and I only have a few QSOs, but it was just the encouragement I needed to get on the air! TU es 73, Mike
Was away most of day, so not many for me this time. Used my Icom IC-7000 at 50w to a vertical, Lionel J38 Straight Key.
