Soapbox Comments

From N4OW, AL

Ran 5w QRP 40 was active at the opening, conditions were very rapid QSB. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Some very nice fists heard.

My first SKCC SSS! Operated from a POTA park since I'm temporarily in an apartment. I love playing radio outside with this cool weather! 10 QSOs in 60 minutes which is enough for a POTA activation. Had a blast. Can't wait to do it again.

Another fun activity.

From AK3X, Peter

Only get to participate sporadically mostly late evenings or afternoons. Signals on 40 were good and the QRN was low here for a change. 73 all, Peter

From KO4GBD, Aaron

Tough conditions today but managed to nag a few nice contacts. Thanks to all who answered my CQ.

From KE8NUM, Paul

My first SKCC Event!

From AC0QQ, Heath Smith

Although I signed up some time ago in hopes to help me learn code ... this is the first SKCC contact made. Thanks SSS and NJ8L.

From KB4QQJ, Randy

Glad to see the amount of activity we had. Bands were in pretty good shape. I spent most of my time on 40m and only a couple on 80/20. Always fun and see ya next month.

From W1DV, Dave

Good event. As usual, 40 meters was the main band. Lots of new members (high numbers), and i worked three on members two of which said they were going to apply for membership. BZ to all

From PA3AM, Gerrit

Low activity this time, maybe that's how it goes in the middle of the week. It was my second appearance is SSS. 2 x 20M qso with EA, both non SKCC members, but 1 x QRP. Surprise was WB2SPP John on 30M in a nice SSS QSO.Key was my 2004 LH Standard Vibroplex at 12wpm. 73" Gerrit PA3AM

From AC1GF, Bob

Good activity at beginning and end of SSS, not
much in between. Got one "S" and one "T" towards
my "SX4", only 135 to go!

From K2CWM, Curt

My fav SKCC event, and gives us all a jump start in the monthly Brag. Used my 12-yr old Icom IC-7000, running 50 watts to a vertical. Kent str key. Stayed on 40m the whole time. Look forward to next month!

From NQ8T, Steve

I Think some one must have swapped out my dipole for a coat hanger ..... what a struggle. TNX! to all who had the patience to work me. ..... 73 steve

From VE3KZ, Bob

Again lots of fun and a great way of obtaining those NEW NUMBERS to achieve the many goals made available by SKCC. The organization is remarkable.

From WB9TFF, Donna

Thanks for the qso's. You heard me better than I heard you on our new to us vertical wire antenna.
