NZ1MT Operated by: Mike

That was fun!! I haven't participated in a SKCC straight key sprint in ages, I must do this more often. Nice to see the 20M band open late to the west coast with SKCC members active (N6WK - booming into MA).

Mike - NZ1MT

WØCSR Operated by: Club

Thanks for QSO's, T/Storms in MO hurt signals but had a great time as always. C U next sprint. 73

N3PDT Operated by: Doug

Got kind of a late start and mostly just went on a relaxed S&P. Worked to fellow Missouri Outlaws - thanks to Slim and Dave in St. Joe. Bands seemed a bit noisy and "odd". Another fun time. Thanks to all.

KDØV Operated by: Merlin

It was a very good Sprint this month. KD0V

WA5AFD Operated by: Gerald

Great fun as usual. Good signals on 20 meters all the way to the end. Spent some time on 40 also. 73's and tnx to all who worked me. Gerald

KB1OIQ Operated by: Andy

QRP 5W into a G5RV@30', Elecraft K1, stayed on 40m the entire sprint. Thanks and 72 de Andy

WA2JSG Operated by: Curt

Nice sprint, just wish I had more time to participate. Did manage to work Gordon N6WK on 2 bands, though. Rig IC-7000, 50 watts to a vertical. Big ole Kent Straight Key.
See you all in Dayton next month???

KDØR Operated by: David

Finished cleaning up from supper just in time for one contact. Thanks Mark. The KX3 at one watt seemed to make it to MO just fine.
David

NØTA Operated by: John

First for me - all 20m. Went to 40m at 0140z for about 5 minutes, but no luck - go figure? Thanks for the Q's. K3, doublet, K2RFP Sprint Logger.

WB7EUX Operated by: Tom

Great SKS - just a few contacts but I did bag the bonus station on 40m. Thanks to all and to the organizers!

The Keys, The Keys

N9YDZ Operated by: Mark

Only made two contacts. As always great fun. TU all.

WBØPYF Operated by: Ray

Got to work almost all 2 hours, 73's QRP ROCKS AGAIN

KBØETU Operated by: Phil

Heard Gordon - N6WK on 20 meters, but too much of a pile up to wait around. Maybe next time. Another fun sprint. Thanks to all who participated. 72/73, Phil

W3NP Operated by: Dave

This is the first time that I have been in a SKCC event since (I think) December. It was good to be back on. Hopefully I will be able to be active again.
Started on 20, went to 40, and finished with one Q on 80. All of the bands seemed to be in good shape. I worked Gordon on 20 and heard him on 40 as well but didn't think my 5 watts would cut it there.
Rig was my Ten Tec Eagle @ 5 watts and my key this evening was the 1915 Vibroplex bug. 72 from WV.

WD5ABC Operated by: Kerry

Got home late from work so I only got to work the last hour or so. I did S&P until the last 5 minutes, I didn't know if I could keep a run going with only 5 watts but I should have started sooner calling CQ. Thanks to all who worked my puny-weak station. Tonight I used the Flex 3000, inverted vee at 30 ft and 1941 Vibroplex Original.

K8TEZ Operated by: Larry

Nice turn out tonight...S-9 QRN on 80 so stuck with 40 meters...worked a lot of Missouri outlaws tonight.. Thanks Pablo kp4sj for PR on 40 meters. A good nite for sks the bands were pretty quiet here even after a day of rain.Expected more QRN but not so. Moved from 40m to80 a little after 0100z and the band was pretty good to east coast and south but nothing from the west or north...thanks to W0CSR and KD0R for a couple of 160m qso`s to end off the sprint. Another fun one and thanks to all who called. 73 Mark

SKS started on time with look at 10M..few CQ's with no results...QSY to 15M found 1 other station working N0UMP (MO)contacted...Did some CQ's on band no more results...QSY to busy 20M (0025-0200Z). Hunt/Pick best option as K6ELQ is
also on band in OXNARD, CA. NET results 9 SKS QSO's...did not hear bonus station. Two hours passed fast. TNX to all...73's AA6AC Bob #6276T QSL's mail.

AF3Z Operated by: Jim

I got on the last 45 minutes. 40m sounded great, strong signals, but hard to get a dah in edgewise... so I went to 20m and stayed there. Enjoyed the SKS as usual but sorry I didn't have more time to catch up with more of you!

Thanks again to everyone that helps putting on the SKCC events.
I am always looking forward to next SKS and WES.

Only made 10 contacts in this event, 8 of them were Missouri Outlaws, only one of them was worked on two bands (all of my contacts were on 40 and 80), go figure.

W4RQ Operated by: Rich

I was surprised 20 meters was pretty good. 10 QSOs, 8 states not bad for my KX-3 at 12 watts, Home Brew Elevated Vertical, and TinyBug.

KF5PFU Operated by: Ryan

I was only able to participate in my very first SKS for around 40 minutes due to other tasks to be done around the house, but it was fun nonetheless.

N6WK Operated by: Gordon

Had a lot of Fun. I'm sorry to all of those that called me that I didn't get to work and there were many! I only worked 20 and 40 meters this Sprint.

K6ELQ Operated by: Tony

Finally made it to a sprint on time and that time sure went fast! I started on 20 meters and never moved from my initial frequency and as a consequence did not get to work N6WK for the bonus. Added a few new prefixes and C/T numbers. Enjoyed working all of you and looking forward to the next event. 73 de K6ELQ Tony in SoCal

This was a nice one. And I stayed up the entire time! It was nice working 80 meters with big signals here in NJ. Thanks to all. 73

The bands were great. Signals were booming in on 20 meters and 40 was good as well. I heard N6WK but could not break thru the pill up.

Its always good to get on the air. Special thanks to N8AMM for the RST of 239 and hanging in there with me. Little did you know that I was running 5 watts. And Gene, 15 miles to the Southwest across town. Love that Cross the City DX lol. See you all next time, Best 73, Carmen

Had a great time. Thanks to all who participated and to all who manage the SKS. I'll be back for more.

KF7DS Operated by: Don

What a fun late afternoon sprint. 20m was open here for the entire sprint, and was quite crowded at the beginning, with a pileup vying for N6WKs/Gordon's attention. Julio/NP3CW and Joey/WN4AT were hanging at the mid-point of 20m (14.042-5), which spread things out and were easy copy.

Only heard one station from the NE/WI1B, but he could not hear me, unfortunately.

See everyone in WES. Don, KF7DS

WØEJ Operated by: Bill

I'm glad I joined in but am still trying to figure out the condx last night. 20 was good and very busy for a short time, hard to find a calling frequency for my QRP signal. I worked a few stations S&P then tried 80 and it was very lonely there, only worked N3PDT and then bailed to 40 which had S9 noise so only worked AD0AB there before abandoning that band. I wasted a lot of time searching about and then decided to go back to 80 which had started warming up by then. Spent the last half hour on 80 with a bit of success. I heard N6WK with a pile up going on, tweaked and tuned to get a sweet spot on the dial and threw my whopping 5 watts at him. He heard me on the first call. So most of the night I tune around and tune around with little success and then get heard by N6WK right off the bat.... Has to be Gordon's skills, surely wasn't the bands cooperating. :) Good to work you all and I'm looking forward to the next SKCC event. Always fun to be had with a great crew of OPs. Did I ever mention how much I love this 258' long OCF dipole?
tnx agn es 72, Bill - W0EJ

N3EIN Operated by: Matt

After power-up at 0000Z it was immediately apparent that conditions were out of the ordinary here in PA. To use a photography term, it was similar to an increased “depth of field” resulting in densely packed signals. With so much to choose from on 20 meters, the challenge was to accurately zero-beat the C-21, and a few times my call to a CQ was returned by someone else. So at 0050Z I tried a few CQ’s (rare for me) on a very quiet 15 meters and picked up Kerry-WD5ABC and George-NC5G in TX. 40 and 80 meters had plenty of activity and I worked Jim-NV9X and Ken-N8KR on both bands. Good to hear Dave-W3NP in WV again. A fun evening!

Bands were good this SKS. There was a pileup on N6WK & I couldn't get in. Rig: TenTec Argosy II at 50w. into an all band dipole up 25 ft. w/straight key.

N8KR Operated by: Ken

This is a multi-op score with two stations operating simultaneously. Ted, K8AQM ran 20 and 80 while I spent my time on 40 meters. He had 52 q's while I had 51 (with 2 dupes). It was fun operating this way, trying to "out do" the other and enjoying a "cold one" when the fury was over. See you all at Dayton next month!

N2JNZ Operated by: George

Bands were pretty good .... only heard Gordon on 7116 but no joy. K0LUW , KI0I and K8TEZ were VERY loud here !!! Worked TWO SD stations which is cool !!! Elecraft K1 , 100th Anniversary Bug and ZeroFive 40 meter vertical. The wide speed weight is outstanding !!!! Thanks all !!!

WA1VIL Operated by: Greg

Always fun to sprint! Spent too much time trying to get Gordon to hear my QRP signal but otherwise plenty of action on 20, 40, and 80. Better than I expected through the rain which can make the noise unbearable at this QTH. 73/72 all and hope to work you next time!

WØYZZ Operated by: Dave

Had a great time but only a short period to operate
