WØSZV Operated by: Eldon

had a good time . more rag chew than sprint, but fun got mo outlaw ki0i on 160 at start. suprised me.

W4CUX Operated by: Bill

Lots of signals tonight. 20m & 40m both good tonight as usual.
Looking forward to next event.
73, Bill - W4CUX

N3PDT Operated by: Doug

Well, another SKS in the log. 20m was great, but a little short and oddly mostly to the east for me. Got four fellow Missouri Outlaws, WD0ECO Mitch, K2HT Dick, KC0M Larry, and our illustrious ringleader and head instigator, WA0BGV Slim. Thank you once again gentlemen. Worked a little 40m at the end, but probably didn't need to. Thanks to all!

NØTA Operated by: John

Been away for awhile - fun to get back. Nice to work some old friends, and especially see some new SKCC numbers. Thanks for the contacts! K3, Vertical, K2RFP logger.

WA2JSG Operated by: Curt

Nice SKS as always. Ran 5 watts from an IC-703 to a vertical off a 12v battery. Bencher RJ-1 Straight Key.

KG9HM Operated by: Steve

20 meters was hoppin' here in IN. MFJ9020 with 5 watts into a dipole in the attic. Thanks to all who patiently dig my signal out of the noise!

NW2K Operated by: Dean

Only the final 20 minutes, but good activity on 20 and 40. Thanks to all and see you next time. 90W, fan dipole at 40'.

WA5BUC Operated by: Fred

Good to be back on after being off several months. Started out on the Magic Band (6 mtrs)hoping to get my first SKCC QSO up there. No luck, even though the band had been open somewhat just before starting time. No action on 10 or 15, either. Worked KI0I on two bands, 20 & 40. The rest of my Q's came on 20. Thanks to all for a great evening.

NØUMP Operated by: Bill

Started out bad. Computer locked up and I had to shut windows down and wouldn't you know, it had seven updates. Hey it's all fun anyway and that I did. It was great to work some of my MO Outlaws, WA0BGV, K2HT and WD0ECO. It was great to run in to my friend Ed W7GVE. I stayed on 20 meters longer then I ever have before and it seemed to stay open for me. Looking forward to the next one. See you there.....Bill

K2DEP Operated by: Steve

Lots of QRN. 15 was dead. Wish I could have done better but it was very noisy and signals were not that strong here in MD. Tnx to all who QSOd. Steve

WA5AFD Operated by: Gerald

First sprint for me this summer and great fun as usual. Thanks to all who make it possible and to all those who participated. Enjoyed hearing all the regulars and some new members too. Spent all the time on 20 mtrs. and enjoyed the short hop but many strong signals. Hope to see everyone again.

KK5NA Operated by: Joe

Only got in for a short time. K3 and EDZ.

KBØETU Operated by: Phil

Lot of noise on 20 meters and 40 meters was even worse! Think it was a combination of QRM/QRN. Seemed to be more activity on 20 meters even though I made more contacts on 40. If nothing else, I did improve on last month's score.
72/73 and hope to hear more of you for the WES next month. Phil

WAØBGV Operated by: Slim

Busy, hot day in western MO. The fun SKS tonight took away some of the unpleasant memories of the day and left my spirit in good shape.
I worked lots of the MO gang tonight.... K3PDT . K2HT . KC0M . W0DE . KI0I . N0UMP . K0KEX . N0UYN . and WD0ECH. Got to see all but Doug K3PDT at the Ham Fest las weekend. Too bad you had to work Doug.
Thanks Frank N3RSD for the not often worked state of DE in my part of the country.
de Slim - WA0BGV

W4IO Operated by: Dan

This was my first try at the SKS. Had a good time!

My little station.

K6CSL Operated by: Bert

First, I was almost a half hour late, because of a late appointment. I started on 10M, found no activity there, same for 15M. When I got to 20M, the band was hopping, but the band was very noisey. So I managed these 4 QSO's. Dean, NW2K was the best signal I heard, with a solid 599 both ways. 73's to all and to all a good night. Bert, K6CSL

WIØS Operated by: Kieth

This was great fun, ran the IC746PRO at 3 watts and sat on 14.050 mostly. Was fun to work Ed W7GVE again and was thrilled to have so many stations work me with nearly no repeats. Looking forward to more CWFUN this weekend. 73 Kieth wi0s

XTAL controlled T.L McElroy A-400 and Kent SK used in July 2012 SKS

K8TEZ Operated by: Larry

Another hot day here on Lake Erie...QRN terrible & S-7 Noise level but did manage to work 13 states tonight all on 40. See everyone next month...73's & thanks for all the calls....Larry

K2HT Operated by: Dick

Thanks for the QSO's. Multiband contacts WA0BGV 160/20 KI0I 160/40 other Missouri Outlaw's worked W0DE, N0UMP, KCOM, N0UYN, and N3PGT. Lots of QSB/QRN.
CU next sprint.

NØUYN Operated by: Dennis

Conditions were pretty good here. Good signal reports both ways. I worked MO Outlaw Dick K2HT and ringleader Slim WA0BGV and heard Rick K0KEX and Bill N0UMP working other stations. Good to see the Posse at Warrensburg. 73.

WDØECO Operated by: Mitch

I missed the first hour of the SKS and just ran on 14.057 the entire second hour. My beam was pointing NE and never moved it. I have lots of line noise so my apologies to the ones I couldn't pull out.

Short skip on 20M with K0KEX and N3PDT from the Kansas City area the strongest I have ever heard them on 20M. In addition to Rick and Doug, worked fellow MO Outlaws WA0BGV Slim and N0UMP Bill.

VE5SG from SK was booming in off the side of the beam. K5ENA from OK was also very strong. As were many other stations.

See you in the WES next month.

73, Mitch
WD0ECO

KB3SZZ Operated by: Ed

Great fun. 73 to all.

WD5ABC Operated by: Kerry

I only had a little time (again) but there were some good signals tonight on 20m. Maybe the bands are finally recovering from the disturbances from last week. Thanks for a fun event!

W9CC Operated by: Larry

It is always fun and was over way too soon. 73 all!

VE7KBN Operated by: Ken

QRP again with HB1B aiming for QRP WAS SKCC with it. Slow start, folks
seemed to hear me better as the event progressed. 20M only. Thanks to stations
for digging me out. The sprints are always fun and appreciated.

NG7Z Operated by: Paul

Been a while since I've done an SKS and it was great to hear so many new calls. Even got a call from Nathan PS7HD. Missed Jack AC6FU but CA was very weak up here in the Northwest. I was pleased to work Steve KG9HM. He was barely above the noise level here. Must have been QRP. I'll have to do more of these. Thanks for the QSO everybody. A fun sprint, 5 watts into 4BTV ground mounted vertical. Plenty of good signals out there tonite. Thanks to those who heard my small signal. 72's Ron.

40 M.wa the band tonite, 80 was dead here in Central PA, but I snagged a couple of QSO's on 20 before it shut down. Rig: TS-120 at 25w. into a G5RV up 25 ft. with a straight key. CU next SKS - 73

WU1V Operated by: Rick

Enjoyed the sprint, only worked 45 minutes. When we got thunder and lightning here in MA I decided it was time to turn the radio off! 73 to all whom I worked. Rick, WU1V

KB1UOH Operated by: Charlie

Once again it was great fun. I did better than last time so I am happy

WB8ENE Operated by: Art

Thought I'd try 5 watts this time. It definitely requires more patience when competing with 100 watt signals, but it's more rewarding too. Rig is K3, antennas are 20M dipole @ 20', and 102' doublet @ 15' for 40M, and key is Begali Blade. Thanks for all the contaacts, and hope to see you all in the next sprint. 73, Art

VE5BCS Operated by: Harold

Band was ok, had to shuy down for large storm ant loop at 25 ft

AG6V Operated by: Donna

Band conditions a bit difficult, but we're used to that right? Fun event none-the-less: always fun to send code.

WB8YXF Operated by: Fr

Thanks to all for the quick contact and for the fun of it! 73 & God Bless

WL7WH Operated by: Bob

Terrible condx for me again....was fun as always!!!

KØKEX Operated by: Rick

Propagation on 20 M was interesting so I hung out there for the first hour, then to 40 M for a short time, managed to work K0LUW on two bands, Missouri outlaws WD0ECO, WA0BGV, & KI0I. Thanks to W8VN & K9JWI for new numbers in the log and many thanks to all stations for the nice reports.
For this SKS I used a recently acquired Vibroplex Presentation from the estate of K0ARR. While talking with Robert, K0ARR's son, he talked about how active his father was in ham radio and the values he had learned from him. I feel a sense pride and hope to carry on the tradition that was K0ARR Robert Ladner....

W3NP Operated by: Dave

20 was the band for me from here in WV. I was able to hold a frequency for a good while and I usually can't do that running QRP. I switched to 40 after about an hour but didn't hear near as much activity, so I went back to 20 and stayed there until the end of the sprint.
Rig: Ten Tec Eagle @ 5 watts. Keys: 1915 Vibroplex bug and German Junker straight key.

Antennas used in SKS - KLM KT-34A & 130' Open Wire Fed Zepp @ 45'

Had a birthday party to go to. Just able to operate for a few minutes.
No contacts.
And next month it is on MY birthday

Hi all,
It was nice to be back in operation after a number of weeks off due to a forced remodeling of the shack. 6 weeks ago there was a four foot long, one foot wide hole underneath the desk due to a hot water line slab leak. Some family issues has also kept me busy. Anyhow, a new floor, one new wall, some different furniture, and a new flat-screen came out of the incident.

Currently I am at 50apacity. I also am bringing the tower down to repair and refit. Sorry for the sloppy CW, the arthritis in my hands gives me some fits. Next time I'll take some Tylenol.

Hey Ed, W7GVE... too bad I couldn't go up to 6 Meters. We were probably having the best Es opening of the spring/summer season while the Sprint was going on.
See ya' for the WES.

Thanks to all who pulled my 900mw out of the noise. See everyone next time. Ray

AF2Z Operated by: Drew

Most of the action was on 20m this sprint. Nabbed a few west coast stations: Ed W1EJ, Paul NG7Z, and Jack AC6FU for the bonus. The only DX was from the Great White North, thanks to Harold VE5BCS in SK. My few 40m contacts were all from OH: Larry K8TEZ, Gene K8EE, and Alan N8ECC. All contacts were either "C" or "T". My rig: Elecraft K3 running 10-watts; 100-ft wire up 30-ft; Junker straight key.

KA5TJS Operated by: Allen

Worked the hole thing in 20 meters which was not bad. Just had about 45 minuets and did hunt and pounce. I had a lot of fun. See y'all next month.

A bit late to the party but fun as always. At least I got in a couple of contacts with some newer members and was happy to help them on the way to their C. 73 to all and catch you next time!

AK3X Operated by: Peter

Usually I am not home on Tuesday evenings... planned to operate in this SKS, but xyl had other plans... 2 qso's about an hour apart. It was fun anyway. 72/73 Peter
