N9QU Operated by: Leo
More than the usual amount of fun. Good signals on 20 & 40. Low noise and medium qsb. Had a blast and worked some new numbers. Thanks to all es 73 til next month.

KC8HKI Operated by: Nick
Worked almost the entire time calling CQ. Didn't realize how tiring that was. Lots of great fists, and quick Q's. Sorry if you thought i was crazy, or left - first time logging on the computer for SKS.

Thanks to those that made contact with me, and being patient, as I was sending WAY faster than I could receive for a normal ragchew.
-Nick

2 New SKCC NRs and I'm sitting at 99, 69 are Qrp. Who will be NR 100? 73's George

NT9K Operated by: Bill
20 meters was great for the first hour. My beam is out of service, so I was using a slinky dipole up 40 ft. My key was a double lever paddle converted to sideswiper. I used it the entire sprint and it felt good. 40 meters was real noisy here in Florida, but still good for a few qso's. Biggest signal goes to John K4BAI. Best fist I heard was Russ as K9SKC. Thanks for 2 bands Russ.
73, Bill NT9K..

Don't panic, I was using the paddle as a cootie key.

AB3AP Operated by: Mike
I had to QRT due to thunder and lightning, but had a great time...then when the rain came had to run around the house closing windows!

WA3ZBJ Operated by: Don
Nice to hear and get to work familiar calls. Thanks for the contacts. Lots of good operators on again tonight.

W0JFR Operated by: John
Started late, so was pretty casual. Best signals: 20m - K4BAI, 40m - K9SKC/K0LUW. K2/100, Vertical, K2RFP logger.

K9SKC/K0LUW Operated by: Russ
My first time running the club call - interesting and a lot of fun. First station worked was KH6G on 20m - a good start. Made about 15 contacts on 20m until traffic died off then moved to 40m where I made most of my contacts. Lots of QRN from storms in my area. Finished on 80m with a couple of contacts. More the "lots" of QRN on 80m. I tried to give "2-fers" to everyone by giving the 00T with the k9skc call and the my k0luw call with my number. Hope everyone had a good time.

K6JF Operated by: Jim
That one fading sunspot was not much help, maybe next time! However, I did manage to pick up four new numbers and one new state.

KC2EGL Operated by: Michael
The more I operate QRP the more fun I have. Tonight I operated with 900mW. It is amazing how well one can make QSO's with very little power. I did have plenty of trouble getting through the pileup's. But I did manage to bust 3 of them. The greatest distance for any of my QSO's was California(George KD6SX). With tonights total I have reached my goal for a average of 1 QSO with mW power a day for the month (31 Q's in 28 days). Thanks to all who took the time to listen for my mW call's. CU in the next event.

My first time, enjoyed the evening, lots of fun.

K8JD Operated by: John
Late start due to son inviting us to dinner at his place (this is rare)...2/3 QSOs on 40m & 1/3 on 80, no answers on 160M ! no time to check 20M...Heard a lot of regulars but a few new calls, nice to hear them all!

KE4KY Operated by: Glenn Petri
Best laid plans....

Tried to get going on this one tonite...too many interuptions during the first 45 minutes. Also..tired from the CQ WPX CW this past weekend.

K4BAI Operated by: John
Was able to operate 1 hour and 37 minutes of this SKS sprint. Lot of activity and good fists. Lots of fun. Hope to put in full time next month. FT1000MP, Alpha 78, 1 KW QSK. TH6DXX, 40M dipole. Nice to work UU1AZ on two bands and two Hawaii and two Alaska stations plus HC2AD in Ecuador on 20M. 73, John, K4BAI.

HC2AD Operated by: ALLAN
This is my first sks. I really enjoy it so thank you very much for all who gave me yours skcc numbers. IŽll increase my log in order to get my "C" degree...
Prop was ok on first hour but little difficult for second hour for dx countries.

KJ4TQ Operated by: CHAS
Only heard a few very strong stations but as usual had a great time.

AD5QB Operated by: Ken
Completely forgot about the Sprint until over an hour into it. Was tuning around 20 meters when I heard calls of CQ SKS. Got a couple on 20 before it faded out, then went to 40 but was very noisy here. Still had fun, hope to spend more time next month. Will try to remember the first of the month event this weekend!

K8KFJ Operated by: Gary
Lousy weather at this QTH didn't seem to affect propagation as signals were quite loud. Nice to hear UU1AZ making contacts with a nice signal. My thanks to Russ K9SKC/K0LUW for the points. I always enjoy the Sprint and we appreciate those who make it possible. Yo'll might wanna put NT9K on your Christmas Card list as he does a hellva job with the Sprint so that we can play radio.

NO2D Operated by: Pete
Only had a few minutes because we have company. Had to go out to the SUV and work from there because the ham shack has turned into a nursery. Had a lot of fun even in such a short time.
Pete, NO2D.
Unintentionally checked an answer on the sked page question, but I really have no opinion either way.

K9MMS Operated by: Gary
Started on 20 meters, the rate was good for the first 7 QSOs,then rapidly dropped. Went to 40 meters after 9 QSOs. The rate on 40 was up and down. Many CQs went unanswered. Tried 80 meters at 0120, but only a couple of signals there -- high noise level, and no QSOs. Did not bother to listen on 160. Returned to 40 meters and stayed there. Hope conditions are better next month.

Thanks for the QSOs. 73, Gary

K1NV Operated by: Jon
A tough night for us western folks. Not much on 20 meters and 40 meters didn't come alive until a half-hour before the end of the activity. I was monitoring 6 meters, but the band didn't open up out here. It was good to hear all the new numbers. CW definitely "lives." WN4KPG (Rick), and KC8HKI (Nick), get an "A" for perserverance copying this station through the noise.

N6EV Operated by: Paul
20 better than 40 this time around. I'm now 1 away from Centurion level!

K5EWJ Operated by: Cookie
Pretty good conditions on 20. 40 was noisy and did not run out of stations to work, so did not try 80. I think it would have been really tough with storms about.

Key I used, Les Logan 501 circla 1925

KB4QQJ Operated by: Randy
Great Sprint!! 20 was alive and I had a hard time trying to let it go so I could go to 40. It was in just as good a shape!! didn't even try 80 and heard nothing on 160. Many new calls heard and plenty of stations to work. Thanks to UU1AZ, Jim, it was great to hear you using your "C"!!
Strongest station was Kaz, K8KS...30 over!! Many fb fists to listen to and a few new bugs in the crowd..Thanks to all for a fun sprint and BCNU

Noise, QRN, Static ! lousy bands here in WNY. I have a headache! Hope for better conditions next SKS. 73

K8QI Operated by: Barry
Only had 1 hr to work the contest so just started calling CQ on 20. Band was really in good shape. With just a wire antenna worked from the Ukraine to Hawaii, plus 2 FL stations too. Wish I had a little more time. So on the Fun Factor scale of 1 to 10, this Sprint was at least a 9.

K2RFP Operated by: Dick
Worked mostly 20m. Met a few new members and one non-member.

It's been a long day.

WA1AR Operated by: Alan
Got home from work late. My inital plan was to just pass out points. Started late with no mental preperation to get into the CW mode. After a few I was up to speed and my hand was doing what my brain told it to do. Dispite a few phone calls I actually did better than I expected. Zero Centurions worked. Being a little rushed I ran my FT450 into my TS440S and both survived with no damage. Bands were noisy in EMA. Jumped around on 80,40 and 20 mostly S&P. Used my 1920 Bug. Had fun as usual.

AF2Z Operated by: Drew
Band condx were great, but the wx was not; thunderstorm snuck up on me... Usually people can't hear me on 20 but it worked fine this time. Snagged Allan HC2AD there and again on 40m; also K9SKC (aka Russ K0LUW) on both bands... Never made it to 80m... We need to recruit more Centurions; didn't work any this time! My rig: Elecraft K2 @ 15 watts, 100' wire @ 30', Junker straight key. -- 73, Drew

Junker!

KC0RSX/QRP Operated by: Len
It was nice to hear Allan, HC2AD, from Ecuador participating. Too bad he reported that QSB got my QRP signal to him except for my call--no points. I heard him 579. :-(

Maybe we should have a higher QSO point award for inter-continental QSOs?

It was fun--again!

KD5MMM Operated by: Phil
only 3 QSOs, but enjoyed it. 73 all

GREAT FUN EVEN THOUGH UNEXPECTED VISITORS REDUCED MY OPERATING TIME. MY FIRST CONTACT WAS HC2AD AND I ALSO WORKED SEVERAL NEW MEMBERS USING MY "NEW" NAVY FLAMEPROOF SK.

Was fun, but very weak signals...lots of qsb. Hopefully next month will be better...73 to all......Bob
