Key info

Postby WB5LAI » Tue Mar 01, 2016 12:16 am

Being new young twirp who last tried a little CW in 1975 I need a little info. The key that I have is black with chrome parts, heavy to be so small, old but works fine (I think). Has numbers FSCM No. 14304 and Harris No. 10085-0066 on the side. Can someone tell me something about it? Name, age, good/bad, history, etc.!! Van - WB5LAI

Found one just like it at BMI Surplus in MA for $19. I'm guessing it is WW11 military issue just from looks. I do not have, and cannot afford, these new fancy gismos and plan to use this key as I launch out into CW world. Van - WB5LAI
