Straight Key Operator's Award of Excellence

Post by KJ7BS » Sat Mar 31, 2007 7:55 pm

This idea was posted on the email reflector.

I move we inaugurate the SKCC *Straight Key Operator's Award of Excellence* We set up a mailbox where SKCC members can forward nominations. Then each year the person receivin the most nom's gets the award. It's a lot more democratic than the A1 nomination process. Whaddyall think?

god bless

I will second the motion, but only after we have a bit more discussion on it. For instance, I think that there should be more than one recipient a year. maybe one a quarter, or maybe a half dozen a year.

I think that this is a great idea, and we should let it evolve a bit.
