Good fun, but only on for a few minutes here and there. England vs Costa Rica football on TV got in the way HI
Ouch....that was miserable! I started working with KM4WHO. He is new to CW and we tried in vain to QSO. The bands were just to poor. I managed to QSO with WA5QWQ and invited him to join SKCC. I then worked W4DHT, N2SO and W8HOG. By the time I worked W8HOG I was calling CQ on autopilot! He answered my CQ and I missed his entire callsign. I was close to being asleep! Apologizes Jerry. All in all, I still had a good time. 73 and thanks for the Qs. Dale K3SEN
Well nothing across the pond! Did hear FRA in the noise but no copy. All contacts were state side 20 meters at 50 watts with my inverted vee.
Came home from my 10 day SOTA + Friedrichshafen trip, and was very tired. So just made a few QSO's. More to come next month !
I will be very happy to welcome better band conditions. This was my first SKSE, and I enjoyed it very much. I'm looking forward to enjoying many more.
Wow. Very tough condx. Barely made 4 QSOs over 2 hours. Frustrating. Couldn't quite work OS0S, tried over and over. Did work 2 French stations and 1 Canadian. 20M all the way, tried 40 but no go. Not bad for QRP I guess, small miracles.
My first sprint using W1SFR's Torsion Bar Cootie/Paddle, using it as a cootie. Great key! See attached photo.
