Rules for the SKCC Centurion Award
1. Centurion is achieved when a SKCC member makes contact and exchanges SKCC numbers and name with 100 different SKCC members.
2.
Neither the SKCC club call (K9SKC) nor any special-event callsign
(such as K3Y) will be accepted for credit for QSOs logged on or after
Dec . 1, 2009. However, you may use the call sign of the actual station
operator, provided that you have not already used that operator on the
Centurion application.
3. Both parties in the QSO must be SKCC members at the time of the QSO.
4. Any call sign used to achieve the Centurion Award can only be used
once for that purpose. That is, if you work AC2C as non-Centurion
member and then AC2C becomes a Centurion, you can't work AC2C again
just because he became a Centurion.
5. Contacts may be made on any available band at any time, including WARC Bands.
6. QSO’s must be made using a straight key, side swipper (cootie), or bug.
7. An endorsement will be provided for working 100 different SKCC
members on any single band. Anyone working 100 other SKCC members on
each of any five bands will be eligible for the 5BSKCC Centurion Award.
8. All applications are processed on a PC by the administrator. Thus,
all data must be entered into the PC before processing can begin. It is
strongly suggested that the Centurion Award & Endorsements
Application be used to submit for this award. If for any reason you
are unable to submit a computer-readable application form, please
contact the award administrator before submitting your application.
Lets make it FUN and keep it SIMPLE!!
