SKCC Monthly Brag Homepage

This is a new venture starting in April 2010 and is aimed at encouraging QSOs among SKCC members that are not part of a sprint, contest or special event.

During each calendar month participants are to keep a count of the SKCC numbers for the stations they work. At the beginning of each month there will be a three day window open for participants to enter their total for the previous month. A computer program will collect and analyze the data and generate a web page of the results.

Rules
1) Each month you start your count over and it is acceptable to re-work and re-count any station worked in previous months.
2) Member status like Centurion or Tribune does not play a role in the accounting, just keep track of the numbers and cast out any duplicates.
3) SKCC numbers must be exchanged by both parties in the QSO using Morse code.
4) The person counting the QSO in their monthly total must be using an SKCC approved keying device.
5) There are no band restrictions. Just make sure you are operating within the limits of your license class. There are no seperations into categories for power level so use whatever power level is convenient for you.
6) Do not count numbers collected while either you, or the other party, was participating in a sprint, contest, or special event.
